All-New Artist Session in GarageBand Gives Fans an Opportunity to Experience Zedd’s Mega-hit “Clarity (feat. Foxes)”
“Clarity” Album Also Now Available in Spatial Audio for Apple Music
Apple unveils its collaboration with Zedd to offer an all-new Artist Session in GarageBand — Apple’s free music creation app for iPhone and iPad — featuring his hit song “Clarity (feat. Foxes).” The collaboration follows the 10-year anniversary of “Clarity,” Zedd’s breakthrough album, and also aligns with the arrival of “Clarity” in Spatial Audio on Apple Music, which is available today.
iPhone and iPad users can now open GarageBand and try their hand at putting their own personal spin on the Grammy-award winning song with guided instruction and inspiration from Zedd himself. Users can start their experience by downloading a free GarageBand version of the song, and then watching a short film in GarageBand’s Sound Library where Zedd talks through his musical beginnings, philosophy as a creator, and behind-the-scenes stories of the making of the hit song. He also gives a demo on how users can create their own simple remix in a couple minutes using the Live Loops interface in GarageBand on iPad.
“Clarity (feat. Foxes)” has been rearchitected using GarageBand’s popular Live Loops interface, which gives music lovers the rare chance to explore all the isolated parts (vocals, beats, synths, etc.) that made this song such an instant hit. The Live Loops interface makes it a snap for anyone to quickly rearrange and add new elements to the song, with no musical experience required.
