Softube would like to welcome our readers to a new video series featuring a variety of artist stories working with Console 1. In this first episode, our good friend Todd from Urban Sound Studio travels to Bavaria with his Console 1 and the Solid State Logic XL 9000 K-Series channel strip add-on.

His mission? To record and mix a collection of 19th century songs by Gustav Mahler, performed by baritone Laurence Gien and pianist Geoffrey Abbott, in a period acoustic and using a period piano. In a situation like this, high-fidelity sound means everything.

Console 1 is discounted by $100/€100 until the end of the year, so whatever your style now’s a great time to upgrade your sound, your workflow, and your entire music-making experience.
